Created by Prince Charles, Poundbury is the urban extension to Dorchester in Dorset.
Blending architecture with the natural environment, Poundbury is being built in phases with the planned completion in 2025. It sets out to show that newly built estates can be aesethically pleasing and with architecture that is not only functional but very attractive. It is a working village that looks good too.
